MFL - Perfection in all areas

The company MFL - Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Gießerei Ges.m.b.H. – was founded more than 70 years ago. It has always specialised in designing and constructing most complex machines and plants. Today, more than 800 people are working for it. By living the idea „Perfection in all Areas“, MFL excels as a most reliable partner for engineering, customised production and implementation of projects in highest perfection.

The corporate group is located in central Europe and represented by partners and agents in more than 50 countries worldwide. The headquarters and central production are in Liezen, Austria. In 2010 the MFL group achieved a turnover of 200 million Euros.

MFL supplies all industrial branches with steel castings and most modern state-of-the-art machines and components all over the world. With an export percentage of 60 percent, Germany, Russia, China and Algeria rank among the major export markets.

The division Sawing and Milling Technology develops and constructs customised plants for the steel, aluminium, and wind power industries. Our product range includes sawing, milling and rail technology as well as special plants appropriate for high capacities and permanent operation. The sawing and milling plants are mostly working in production lines of forges, rolling mills, pipe rolling mills and for the production of wind mills all over the world.

The product range of the division “sawing and milling technology” includes

- Plate edge milling machines for ERW pipes and the wind power and ship building industry

- Stripe edge milling machines for longitudinal welded pipes

- Circular layer sawing machines for seamless pipes and profiles
