COIA GmbH has been established in 1983 and entered the fields of Processing Optical Fibres and manufacturing of UV Curable Coating over 17 years ago.

Since 1990, Colouring and Up-Coating of Optical Fibres as well as processes and development strategies have been driven World-Wide by the needs and desires of our Customers in the UV-Coating industry.

At the same time, our Company provides Services to different Customers in the various industrial areas such as Optical Fibre and Optical Cable Manufacturers, suppliers for automotive parts (headlamp lenses), wood, metal and copper-industry, …etc. as far as machinery, equipment and UV-Curable Material.

COIA's ability to design new equipment together with the utilisation of UV and Special Curing Systems have lead to the versatility of efficiently Colouring and Coating of Optical Fibres with exceptional high speeds and curing rates.

From the beginning we have committed ourselves not only to provide total Customer satisfaction, further more we have also engaged ourselves to invent in environmental friendly Chemicals and Processing Techniques.

Main features of our Environmental and Customer Care Policy are Research and Development with regard to High Performance and Complex Customized Formulations combined with the lowest environmental pollution, on additional to high efficient machinery designing as well as venturing into New Technologies like the initiation of our Water Treatment Division in the year 2000.
